| Temporary teachers stage protest | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: Hundreds of teachers today staged massive protest demonstration under the banner of J&K Temporary Teachers Association led by Bhopinder Choudhary Genaral Secretary of the Association. Teachers gathered at Exhibition Ground Jammu and raised the slogan against coalition government. They are continuously struggling for the continuation of their service from March 2015. Near about 8000 temporary teachers were engaged primary, middle & secondary schools throughout the state in 2014 for one academic session. They were appointed on merit based at Village, Panchayat and Zone levels. While interacting with media person, Bhopinder Choudhary said that government is making us fool while making false verbal promises again and again, no solid statement from Govt. side till date regarding their issue . Before election both political parties BJP and PDP had including the problem of youth in their agenda, but after the formation of Govt. , they excluded the same . Temporary Teachers warns the Govt., if their genuine demand is not fulfïlled, they will not stop the Agitation and may takes the extreme steps in the coming days. |
