JKTF holds massive protest; reiterates demands 11/22/2015 12:20:21 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 21: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum Jammu staged massive protest demonstration at Press Club Jammu. The demonstration was held under the leadership of Ganesh Khajuria State General Secretary of the Forum in which hundreds of Teachers from all the districts of Jammu Province participated. The teachers raised slogans in support of their demands and condemned the attitude of the State Govt. in General and Education Department in particular towards the teaching community. They criticized the government for harassing the innocent teachers by adopting delaying tactics towards the legitimate and genuine demands. They highlighted their demands included immediate release of Salary Grants in favour of Masters/ Teachers/ReTs working under SSA, RMSA and NPS Schemes, release of Mid Day Meals Grants, repatriation of Masters who have completed their tenure to their respective home Districts, immediate regularization of ReTs who have completed their five years of service, immediate adjustment of Promotee Lecturers of different streams and masters promoted in February 2014, immediate promotion of Masters as Head Masters, removal of Pay Anomalies of Masters Grade as cleared by the Cabinet Sub Committee, exemption of Teaching Staff from performing additional duties (like census etc).   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
