Jammu, Nov 21: Provincial President Youth National Conference Jammu province Ajaz Jan, emphasized that in a choked political atmosphere, plagued with opportunism and lust for power, the youngsters can bring a pleasant breeze with their innovative ideas and emancipated outlook.
Jan who was addressing the provincial youth office bearers meeting here today at party headquarters Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan to review the membership drive launched by the party, acknowledged that the field of politics was full of thorns but hoped that the youngsters can brave it with all the energy at their command and spirit of serving the people.
He also exhorted youth office bearers to play their crucial role in socio-economic transformation, saying Jammu and Kashmir is passing through difficult times and it is incumbent upon all to make it again a real paradise on earth. He assured the youngsters that National Conference will provide them appropriate forum to grow as future leaders with a vision inherited from Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and the legacy of his selfless service towards the people of the state. He said that Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah have been carrying forward this mission with a sincerity of purpose.
NC Youth President said that the present PDP-BJP government has utterly failed to deliver on ground, and are now trying to take credit of all those projects which have been initiated and sanctioned by the Omar Abdullah led government. |
