NPSU launches signature campaign on Dogra certificate issue

Jammu, Dec 18: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) activists today launched the signature campaign for involving the students and youth of Jammu region in the crusade for revival of the practice of issuance of Dogra certificate to Jammu region youth.
The students assembled outside the Jammu University gate in the morning and shouted slogans against the state government in general and BJP in particular for having compromised the very dignity of the Dogras.
The signature campaign which was initiated by Thakur Virender Singh President NPSU was joined by several hundred students who vowed to fight for their Dogra identity and pride. The student leaders warned to take the agitation to New Delhi if the local BJP failed to assert on the issue.
Meanwhile interacting with the media persons Singh said that now NPSU is going to reach every nook and corner of Jammu Pradesh everywhere signature camping will be done and masses will be aware about the discrimination with Dogras.
Singh lambasted BJP MLAs that they should not take this issue lightly, this is the issue which is related with the future of thousand of Dogra youth and if the said issue is not discussed in the coming Assembly Session then BJP leaders to get ready to face the resentment of thousand of Dogra youth.
They further said that NPSU was going to protest all over Jammu Province and after that the way to Delhi will be marched and the strong protest will be lodged at Jantar Mantar, let all the country know about the double standard of the Bhartiya Janta Party.
Lovely Singh, Rishi Badayal, Shubam Jasrotia, Sourav Singh, Sumit Jamwal, Shubam Chib, Rahul Sharma and Bhupinder Singh were also present in the signature campaign.
