JAMMU, Dec 18 : Shubam Sharma, student of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul, Charan Paduka, Katra stood first in entire university by securing maximum marks in the annual examination of class 8th conducted by the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyala, Varanasi, in May-June, 2015.
On his outstanding achievement, Shubam is being awarded Vakratund Gold Medal by the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyala at its convocation scheduled to be held on 21st of this month at Varanasi. This is for the third time consecutively that the students of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul have secured first position in the entire Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyala in class 8th annual examinations and awarded Gold Medal.
