Seminar on present scenario of creative writing in Urdu held 12/18/2015 11:35:30 PM Early Times Report jammu, Dec 18: The department of Urdu, University of Jammu in collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language(NCPUL) , Ministry of HRD, Government of India is organizing a one day National seminar on the subject "Present Scenario of Creative writing in Urdu" on 22nd of December 2015. The seminar will be inaugurated by Minister of Transport Abdul Gani Kholi while Prof. R.D. Sharma, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu shall preside over the inaugural function. This was disclosed to media by HOD Urdu Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik. He said that the basic aim to organize a seminar on the vital theme is to know that what types of experiments are being used by creative writers in their writings and to also know that how the writers of younger generation are influenced by creative writings. Prof. Shohab further informed that there would be two academic session of the seminar. One session will be dedicated to prose and other to poetry. Reputed scholars of Urdu like Prof. Ali Javeed, Prof. Mansoor Ahmed Mir, Prof. Khwaja Ekram-ud-din, Dr. Kazim, Dr. Nadim, Prof. Qudose Javeed, Prof. Arifa Bushira, Dr. Mushtaq Hyder and others are expected to participate in the one day National seminar.
