Landowner being deprived of his rights | | | Mendhar, Oct 19: Although revenue department is claimant to provide neat and clean system in its record, but in Gursai village of Mendhar tehsils of Poonch district an unbelievable story of a local namely Mohammad Rashid has come obvious. According to Mohammad Rashid six year's long time has been passed, the employees of the revenue department are in favour of providing his land's records. He blamed that n 2010 agitation, some records have been lost due to fire after that three Patwaris have exchanged there and no one has provided his Naqal (Khasra Gardawri). He allegedly said that the employees and higher officials have transferred his record to his other two brothers Badar Din and Lal Hussain who are bootleggers. He said while he visited the police station for complaints, SHO and other police employees also ignored him and threatened him to kill. He said many a times he has approached to higher authorities but is still waiting for justice. He appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, revenue minister and deputy commissioner Poonch Muhammad Harun Malik to intervene in the matter personally, investigate it and take strong action against the involved employees. |
