GHSS Budhi pays homage to martyres 10/21/2016 11:32:11 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 21: In order to pay the homage to Martyrs, a grand function was organized today at Government HSS Budhi (Kathua) in collaboration with BSF 80 Bn Penthi Samba and Distt. Police Kathua in which the floral tributes paid on the portraits of the students of this School namely Shaheed Ct. Labh Singh (BSF) R/O Thanoon and Shaheed Ct. Mahesh Kumar (JKP) R/O Barnoti who laid their supreme sacrifice for the sake of the nation. In this function large no. of people of Budhi and surrounding villages including Sarpanch Budhi Shivram Sharma, Sarpanch Sounthal Angrez Chand, Sarpanch Thanoon Yashpaul Sharma and other Panches and dignitaries of different villages, members of the martyrs families and persons from BSF and JK police took part in the function. Children of the School performed cultural programmes and expresses their views on the day. Satish Chandel, Sr Lecturer Physics took the proceedings of the programme and give the detailed information about the life history of Shaheed Labh Singh and Shaheed Mahesh Kumar and recited the poem," Main Woh Shaheed hoon.........". Later on Sarpanch Shivram Sharma expressed his views on Martyrs Day and asked students to have the nation spirit in them.
