| Medical camp organized under BBBP | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Feb 14: A medical cum awareness camp was organised by district administration here and District Health Society Samba under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Campaign today at Degree College here today.
ADC Samba Tilak Raj chaired the function. The programme included medical examination and health check up of more than 400 girl students. HB level, BP and other vital tests were conducted and free medical consultation was given to the girls. Iron, Folic Acid and other necessary supplements were also given to girls with low HB level.
Fitness experts Aarti Mahajan Dingra and Manik Dingra interacted with the students and advised them about the techniques of leading a healthy life. Others present on the function were Shafqat Majeed, District Social Welfare Of ficer, Rajinder Samyal CMO Samba, Ashok Kumar, Vice Principal, GDC Samba. Later a movie was also screened on health and wellness for the students |
