BVM School celebrates Matru Pitru Diwas

Udhampur, Feb 14: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur celebrated Matru Pitru Diwas.
This programme was started with the lightening of lamp and Saraswati Vandana by Principal and parents. Students from nursery to 10th participated in this programme. This programme includes song, poem, Debate skit etc. students express their views through Debate, poem, song that we should respect our parents and never forget them. We always follow their path. After this students worship their parents as well as their teachers and got blessings from them.
Chief Guest of this programme said that moral values are very important for every citizen; we should develop respect, care and love for parents. Parents also appreciated this programme and said that this type of programme is very important to aware children about their culture and importance of parents in our life.
In the end Principal gave wishes to students, teachers and parents and said that today society gave more preference to western culture and forget their culture. So to aware children about the importance of their parents, Matru Pitru Pujan Diwas is celebrated every on 14th February.
