Pak resorts to unprovoked firing in Nowshehra

Rajouri, Feb 14: Pakistan army once again started targeting forward Indian posts and civil areas with small/automatic weapons and mortars in Nowshera sector in Rajouri district after a lull of two days.
Pakistani soldiers are targeting Indian forward posts in Troi Nallah and Baba Khori areas since 6.15 pm and no report of loss to property or life has yet been reported from these areas .
"Administration is in touch with all the concerned Lamberdars, former sarpanches/panches and in case of any emergency required help will be provided to the needy people" said Abdul Sattar SDM. "Pakistan army has initiated unprovoked indiscriminate firing, mortar shelling at 6.15 pm in Nowshera sector along LoC. Indian army is retaliating effectively and strongly" said an Army officer.
On February 10 one woman namely Parveen Akhter r/o Pukhrani (Nowshera) had died due to splinter injuries while on February 11, troops of Pakistan army's Mujahidin Battalion had opened indiscriminate firing/ shelling in Tarkundi Gali and Kanga Gali areas in Manjakot sector in Rajouri district but no loss was reported.
