| 5 youth detained for suspicious movement along IB, released | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 14: Arnia police detained five suspected persons from Arnia sector (RS Pura) along the International Border and were later released after verification and producing before the magistrate.
Police spokesman said that yesterday all the five persons were boarding a wagonr car bearing registration number JK01X-6933 and were detained after they were found moving suspiciously along the International Border under mysterious circumstances.
Police identified the detained Mohammad Salim Bhatt (35), Manzoor Ahmed (34), Mustaq Ahmed (28), Ashik Nabi (28), Shabbir Ahmed (36) all residents of Budgam.
Police sources said that all the five persons were released by police as they had forgotten way. All study at SKUAST in RS Pura. They were detained last evening. After verification and character confirmation from their district, all the five were let off.
Police further said that they were detained because high alert was in the area following Sunjwan attack. On Wednesday, they were also produced before the magistrate for the release. |
