JKNPP demands withdrawal of price hike of diesel, petrol

Jammu, Feb 18: Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP along with his supporters and party workers held a massive protest demonstration against the present Govt over the issue of price hike of diesel and petrol.
The party workers push a truck with the help of rope and raised slogans against the govt and demanded withdrawal of price hike of diesel and petrol with immediate effect. Gupta said that for personal interest the govt is not taking the problems of the common man seriously. There is continuous hike in prices of the daily need things and the hike in prices of diesel and petrol further add to the miseries of the common man. The Govt. is in deep sleep and not taking any steps to decrease the prices of petrol and diesel. He demands that the govt should withdraw the price hike of diesel and petrol with immediate effect as it directly affects the daily need items of common man and it also affects the transporters and public transport. He said that transporters re the spinal cord of the economy of any country or state and govt should look into the matter to overcome the issue of price hike of diesel. On this occasion he was accompanied by Sh Jagdish Singh Baryal, S Joginder Singh, Surat Lal, Mela Ram, Sonu Choudhary an others.
