| Woman killed after portion of house collapses | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: A 35-year-old woman was today killed when a portion of her house collapsed during renovation here, police said. Aparna Mahajan was washing clothes in the bathroom when the incident took place at Rehari Colony here. She was trapped under the debris, a police official said.
He said that a police team rescued her and took her to a hospital where she was declared brought dead. The labourers engaged in the renovation work and other members of the family escaped unhurt, the official said. The incident took place when a door of the building was being demolished, he said. |
