| NSF protests against Cluster University Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 3: National Secular Forum (NSF) held protest against Cluster University administration and torched the effigy Higher Education Department led by Anshu Sharma President PG MAM College Unit NSF. Addressing the gathering here today, Anshu Sharma said that the Cluster University Jammu created by the Government for the facility of students has deviated from the well established norms of allowing students to go in for re-evaluation with the college students falling under its jurisdiction are at the receiving end at the hands of teachers causing great resentment amongst them. Anshu Sharma reveal the insensitive style of functioning of Cluster University at its own whims and vagaries and said that Cluster University has dispensed with re-evaluation system and introduced anti students system of showing the papers to students by the teachers themselves before sending the result to Controller of Examination, Cluster University for its official declaration. He said that majority of colleges do not adhere to this unhealthy system of showing papers to students with the result the innocent students are vulnerable to unwarranted exploitation at the hands of teachers and a great resentment is brewing in the minds of students who no way out to seek re-evaluation as per past practice which is still in vogue in Jammu University for the facility of other university students. |
