Jammu, Mar 3: To promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan celebrate the World Wildlife Day and presented its 198th Saturday series dogri musical play " Sade Ban Jeev" in coordination with STAP at open air theatre , Durga Bhawan , Janipur Jammu. This year the theme of the celebration in 2018 is "BIG CATS: PREDATORS UNDER THREAT". The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest, VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, JK Raina, Freelancer Producer Director Films Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government of India were the Guest of Honour. The day observed as to protect the wildlife environment as well as with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. Specially prepared on the theme of Like "Sade Ban Jeev - Sade Ban Jeev","Bane jeeve gi Bachayo umar apni Badyo" , " Harna harna Jungle Charna", " Bane de jeeve da Sab rakhyo khyal je- nai te hona sada jeena mahul je." , Skits , Slogans Songs and Dances were presented to aware the masses & the music was composed by Sh.Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective through the children of music and computer institutions and said we gives us the opportunity to raise awareness about their plight and to galvanize support for the many global and national actions that are underway to save these iconic species. Welcome address of ML Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan highlighted the history of world wildlife day and said on March 3rd , 1973 the United Nations General Assembly took a stand against to protect endangered species throughout the world. Whether plant or animal, the importance of these species in every area of human life. |
