| Jammu, Mar 3: Department of Computer Applications, GDC Akhnoor, organized a seminar on the topic "Internet of Things". Venus Sharma, Assistant Professor, Computer Applications from GGM Science College was the Resource Person. The welcome address was given by Jyoti Sharma, HOD Computer Applications. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college, Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma highlighted the importance of Internet in day to day life. Prof. Venus Sharma explained the basic concepts related to Internet of things like its scope, potential, areas of applications , limitations etc. He threw light on the role of electronics, softwares, sensors, network connectivity for collecting and exchanging data. |
