Rajouri, Mar 8: In-charge headmaster for Government Middle School at Katarmal, who was recently appointed as in-charge headmaster at middle school Katarmal (Manjakot) has approached the police alleging that the residents of the area (Katarmal) didn't allow him to join at his new place of posting. Katarmal falls under the jurisdiction of Manjakot education zone and presently Master Kabir Hussain a local resident is working as in-charge headmaster. Mohd Javid, former sarpanch and Village Education Committee (VEC) members including Sabza Begam and Gulab Hussain alleged that being a local , Kabir Hussain by his hard work has raised the academic standard of the schools and has managed smooth functioning in the school within a short period. As the headmaster of the school was transferred and the post remained vacant for many months, Ch Lal Hussain,CEO had directed Kabir Hussain to look after the affairs of middle school. Recently Director School Education in an order appointed Jameel Shah, in-charge headmaster. Immediately after the Jameel Shah's order, the residents of Katarmal held a meeting and it was decided in the meeting that as the track record of Jameel Shah is not satisfactory, they will not allow him to join at Katarmal to spoil the career of our children. In this regard they have also informed the Director School Education, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, CEO and Deputy SP, Manjakot about their decision. Today when Jameel Shah went to Katarmal, he was not allowed by the people to enter the school. "A physical scuffle also took place and Jameel Shah approached the police to take action in this matter. A team is in the village to investigate the matter. It's a departmental matter and the CEO should intervene to resolve the issue" said SHO, Manjakot. "A two member committee, comprising of principal HSS, Saj and headmaster high school, Panjgrain, has been constituted to investigate the matter and the detailed report will be sent to higher authorities for further action" said Ch. Lal Hussain, CEO. |
