Jammu, Mar 8: National Secular Forum (NSF) has criticized Vice Chancellor of Jammu University for cancelling booking of a varsity hall, for proposed seminar on illegal settled Rohingyas.
Dr.Vikas Sharma said that they had taken permission to hold seminar at Gyan Chand Seminar Hall located in the Department of Urdu in order to highlight the negative effects of continuously illegal sojourn of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi in and around City of Temples. "The cancelling of permission to hold seminar, reflects the intention of VC to keep PDP-BJP combined state government in a good humour for his petty interest for extension in his tenure as VC from the Govt which has virtually failed to evict Rohingyas for the obvious reasons", he said. |
