| Estates employees stage protest demonstration, threaten strike | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 10: Employees of Estates Department will hold a protest demonstration on March 12 and 13 stated Yash Pal Sharma, Chief Coordinator of State Level Coordination Committee of Estates Employees Unions, J&K while briefing media today .
He on the occasion highlighted demands of the employees include Re-organization of Estates Department; Regularization of daily rated workers and enhancement in the wages of daily rated workers; Holding of DPC; Construction of Building for housing the Office of Deputy Director Estates, Jammu and additional rooms for field staff working for the welfare of Estates Department round the clock at Jammu; Releasing tool and uniforms in favour of Class-IV employees of Estates Department, Jammu; Releasing arrears of time bond promotion w.e.f. 2006 to 2012 and Releasing pending salaries of need based workers.
He further added that employees may go on indefinite strike if the demands are not considered in time. |
