MENDHAR, Mar 13: The celebration of 'Ramkund Mela' will be held in the historical Ramkund Temple, situated in Mankote the extreme border of Tehsil Mendhar on 16th March, 2018. A meeting of Managing Committee of Ramkund Mandir was held under the president of its Mendhar Unit on Tuesday to finalise the arrangements for celebration of festival with great pomp and show. According to the resolution the Chhari Yatra will commence on 15th March, 2018 from Hanuman Mandir Mendhar at 10:00 AM which will reach Ramkund Mandir and commence Ramayan Path. The Ramayan Path will be completed on 16th March 2018 (FN) and thereafter Bhajan Kirtan will continue throughout the day. Bhandara will also be served to the devotees. People from Poonch, Rajouri, Nowshera, Reasi, Udhampur and Jammu will participate in this function in large number. |
