| Locals seek immediate arrest of culprits, take out candle march | | Kishtwar murder case | |  Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, Mar 15: The ruling People's Democratic Party student wing today held a peaceful candle light march in memory of deceased hotelier Ishtaq Ahmed Dar who was gunned down by unknown assailant last Friday. They called upon police to arrest the culprits as early as possible.
As per the details available with "Early Times" the candle light march was organized by a group of students affiliated with the PDP and was led by PDP Student wing President .
The participants carried photograph of the deceased and the banner carried the massage "Ishtaq Hum Sharminda Hai-Tere Qatil Abhi Zinda Hai (Ishtaq we are feeling ashamed as your killer are still alive and roaming free" .
Meanwhile the traders and members of Majlies-e-Shoura Committee Kishtwar today held a meeting with SP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary and expressed their resentment over failure of Kishtwar police in arresting the culprits.
Immam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar also showed its concern over the failure of the police in solving the mystery behind the killing of Dar.
SP Kishtwar assured them that no innocent persons will be framed in the case and sought more time from solving the case. He assured them that police will crack the case and will put the culprits behind the bars.
Meanwhile following intervention of the State Women Commission, all the women who were kept under police detention were released. |
