| Major scam alleged in making BPL cards In Mendhar | | Patwaris' well off acquintances given BPL cards | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 15: Although the centre and state government is boasting aking their achievements, the reality on ground varies as the locals of Mendhar have alleged major scam in making of ration cards where the APL families were issued BPL cards with the consent of some patwaris and those who deserved the BPL cards were provided with the APL cards.
Locals added that the corruption is at its peak in Mendhar as there is no justice for poor and weak in the PDP-BJP regime where the rights of the poor were compromised to those having known officers and money.
They said that this scam is common in all the surrounding areas and villages.
They have demanded that action must be taken against such officials as well as people involved in it. They have requested the CAPD Minister Zulafkar to interface in this matter as the dealers and other officers are non cooperative and often abuse poor people. |
