JKMEF demands issuance of DPC order

Jammu, Mar 15: In an emergent meeting of Senior leaders and Executive members of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation held here today under the Chairmanship of Sushil Sudan some issues were discussed regarding the drawl of salaries of surplus employees and inordinate delay for issuance of DPC Orders which was conducted months before.
Sudan expressed serious concern over the Non-Release of Salaries of surplus Health Employees of various categories further adding to the discussion he expressed the possibility of erupting the corrupt attitude of concerned authorities as the DPC orders are issued in parts without any succession which clearly shows the corrupt behavior of the concerned. "Transparency in Transfer policy of Department must be adopted, Pick & Choose policy which is not justified, Amendment of SRO-20 which is still pending in Secretariat since 25 years, notional benefit to the all adhoc & Contractual employees of the department, Risk allowance to all Medical Employees, Filling up of all vacant posts of Gazatted / Non Gazatted cadre as per sanctioned position in rural areas as well as in urban health institutions", demanded by JKMEF. They further demanded adequate supply of Medicine in all institutions i.e. S/c NTPHC, PHCs, CHC/ SDH & District Hospitals due to which staff have been beaten up by Mobs. "Regularization policy should be framed for the Employees engaged under SRO 384/409", they demanded. The meeting was attended and addressed the meeting are S. Vinod Kumar Sharma, S. Parfulat Singh, Ch. Jarnail Singh, S. Harpal Singh, Mohd. Saleem, Ch. Aslam Bhai, Pawan Singh, Sanjay Khajuria, R.K, Kotwal, Neelam Kumari, Suriya Akhtar, Mamta Sharma, Sapna, R. P Singh, Yougal Bakshi, Raman Anand, Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, Anoop Singh and Gourav Sharma.
