Grameen Bank organizes village level programmes at Rajouri, Poonch

Jammu, Mar 15: Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized 32 Village Level Programmes at different villages of district Rajouri and Poonch.
Des Raj, DDM Rajouri, NABARD, visited different branches of J&K Grameen bank and aware participants about developments in banking sector and latest schemes.
The participants of the programme are Bank Officials, SHG members from the village, NGO workers and SRLM staff.
They were informed regarding importance of interactions between bankers, SHPIs including NGOs and SRLMs and SHG members resulting in better understanding and appreciation of mutual requirements, which will result in improved credit linkage as well as improved recovery. People were educated about the Aadhar Seeding and Mobile seeding with their respective saving bank accounts which is need of the hour for the banking sector. District Coordinator Leader, Bindu Bala on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the bank towards awareness made to women's especially at village level and aware the people regarding the benefit of the various schemes of J&K Grameen Bank like SHG, JLG and Handicraft Loans Etc. She also applauded that the bank is making extraordinary efforts to make the national programme of social schemes a big success. she explained the participants about the products, deposit and to avail credit facilities in general like Housing Loan @8.35%, Transport Loan@ 9% and Car loan @ 8.95%.She also stressed upon the schemes of small and big industrial loans and requested them to visit their branch without any hindrance for their all banking needs under one roof.
Representatives of Line Departments like KVIB, Animal Husbandry also attended the programmes.
