Jammu, Mar 16: A deputation of Kashmiri Migrants led by its Chairman Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan today met Additional District Development Commissioner (Department of Aadhaar affairs) and discussed problems being faced by migrants. The deputation also submitted Memorandum of demands which included, enrolment campaign in all J&K Bank Ltd nearest to migrant camps and non migrant camps and organize one enrolment campaign camp in migrant camps premises of Jammu region for enrolments of eligible new souls, correction including addition and alteration and issuance of Aadhaar cards for time being to facilitate the displaced people. The Additional District Development Commissioner gave patient hearing and assured the deputation that their demands will be redressed shortly. |
