Ram Madhav lambasts BJP ministers, leaders for supporting Jammu people
3/17/2018 7:24:35 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 16: On the one hand when people of Jammu region, from Rajouri to Kathua are agitating for their genuine demands, National General Secretary of BJP Ram Madhav attacked own party ministers and senior leaders for supporting people of Jammu, who had voted in favour of BJP in 2014 Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
Credible sources said that Ram Madhav lashed out at state unit of party for supporting people of Kathua and Samba districts who are demanding handing over Hiranagar murder and alleged rape case to CBI. He directed party ministers to support coalition partner on this issue and there is no need to support locals demanding CBI inquiry.
Credible sources when some party MLAs tried to endorse locals of Samba and Kathua districts, who are demanding fair probe in the murder and rape case, Ram Madhav snubbed them for not toeing government's line on this issue, which has created anger in two districts of Jammu province which had voted in favour of BJP in elections.
Credible sources said that Ram Madhav also rebuffed party ministers for raising hue and cry over minutes of the meetings in the review meeting of the Tribal Affairs Ministry. He said that there was no reason to raise this issue in such a manner. He said that it was duty of the party ministers to quietly take up PDP ministers.
Later talking to the media persons, Ram Madhav refused to reply the question regarding settlement of Rohingyas in Jammu. The way Ram Madhav has refused to reply the question about settling Rohingyas in Jammu has authenticated the allegations that BJP is providing shelters to these foreign settlers who have become a security threat in Jammu.
On ouster of State’s &K Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu from the council of ministers, he said that it was an internal matter of PDP.
