Jammu, Mar 16: J&K police today organized sports event in the premises of Dewan Devi Hr. Sec. School Rajpura, Jammu, wherein Pranav Mahajan (DySP, city west) and Naresh Sharma (SHO, Bakshi Nagar) were the chief guests.
The event began with a Rajasthani Folk Dance. Students participated in various games like Fencing, Judo teamwork race, three legged race etc. The Chief Guest Pranav Mahajan delivered an impressive speech advising the students to participate in sports and other co-curricular activities so that they remain physically as well as mentally fit.
The Chairman of the school Subash Chander Suri also addressed the students on this occasion and advised them to make the best use of every opportunity they get in the field of games.
The principal of the school, Seloni Anand also thanked J&K police for extending their support and sparing time to be with the students from their busy & hectic schedule. |
