Jammu, Mar 16: A woman patient on Friday allegedly died of doctor's negligence which triggered protest here on city outskirts.
"A woman from a remote village of Bishnah Tehsil had visited to a private eye clinic in Sainik Colony area on Friday morning," police sources here said.
They said that the patient was injected prior to the operation but she collapsed.
"The family shifted her to the Government Medical College and Hospital but she was declared as brought dead," they added and said that the doctor escaped from the clinic.
The family however, later staged protest demanding acting against the doctor and sealing of the clinic.
Police have registered a case and started the investigations. |
