| HC directs PSC not to finalize selection of Lecturer Oral Medicine & Radiology | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: In a petition filed by Dr. Imran Malik seeking quashment of the impugned Notification bearing No. 14-PSC (DR-P) OF 2017 dated 27.11.pleading that respondents advertised the post of Lecturer Oral Medicine and Radiology under open merit category instead of RBA category in violation of the Reservation rules in arbitrary and illegal manner and also sought direction to the respondents to advertise the post of Oral Medicine and Radiology under RBA category in adherence and compliance to the Reservation Rules by applying the Roster point.
Justice Tashi Rabstan after hearing Adv Pranav Kohli with Adv Farhan Mirza for the petitioner issued notice to the state and PSC, Adv FA Natnoo waives notice on behalf of the PSC.
Justice Tashi Rabstan directed PSC subject to objection and till next date of hearing, PSC shall not finalize the selection process initiated in terms of the notification 14-PSC (DR-P) of 2017 dated 27.11.2017 to the extent in oral medicine and radiology under open merit category instead of RBA category. |
