Jammu, Mar 23: Director General of Police Dr. S.P Vaid has sanctioned DGPs special reward with Commendation Certificate in favour of five (13) wards of serving Police personnel who have secured above 80% marks in the annual examination of Class 10th / 12th during the academic session 2016-17. A total of Rs. 56,600/- special reward have been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund for these students.
The wards of serving police personnel who have been granted scholarship are Aryaman Parihar, Midhat Hassan, Arman Khan, Gourav Bhau, Khalid Riyaz, Damini Sharma, Mehak Manzoor, Faizan Rashid Bhat, Shally Sharma, Ashina Imtiyaz, Shakshi Sharma, Riya Sharma and Maher-Ul-Nisa. Police Headquarters has been sanctioning scholarships and rewards for wards of martyred and serving Police personnel under different schemes to boost their morale. |
