| BIS Jammu organizes Graduation Ceremony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: To mark the significance of schooling in the lives of toddlers, the British International School, Sanik Colony, Jammu organized an impressive function to celebrate Graduation Ceremony of Kindergarten students with great fervor and gaiety. This day they step forward from Pre-Primary -Class 1st. It is the first step forwards formal education. Little toddlers were very excited on passing out from Class Prep to Grade I and receive their degrees in their black gowns and smart caps. The function started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Abbas Wani Honourable MLA, Gulmarg), Gita Sharma (Chairperson of British International School) and Sanjana Katoch (Academic Coordinator) & Sonia Katoch(Teachers Incharge). On this occasion a colourful programme was staged by the students of Pre-primary wing. Students of Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten showcased their talent by presenting beautiful dance and song. Parents were very excited to witness the ceremony as their little darlings wore the graduation gowns and graduation caps, and held their scrolls firmly in their hands. The Chief Guest congratulated the parents and the students and said "Teachers are like a caring potter who shapes and moulds the child with tender love, care into a confident individual". |
