| Four gamblers held, Rs 5080 Stake money recovered | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Apr 1: Bari Brahmana Police arrested four gamblers and 5080 rupees stake money recovered from their Possession in district samba here today.
They identified as Parvinder Kumar Son of Prem Lal resident of Smailpur, Pervez Ahmed Son of Saleem Mohd resident of Nagrota Jammu, Rinku Singh Son of Chaman Lal resident of Smailpur and Reyaz Choudhary Son of Mohd Din resident of Khaddian Bari.
According to the police sources, acting on a specific information about gambling, a Police Party of Police station Bari Brahmana headed by Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SHO P/S Bari Brahmana, raided the gambling spot at Main Bazzar Bari Brahman & arrested 04 gamblers along with playing cards and recovered a stake money of Rs. 5080/- from the spot.
The whole operation conducts under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Anil Magotra and direct supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana.
All the gamblers were booked under section 13 of Gambling Act in P/S Bari- Brahmana |
