| "SANSKAR" organizes book release function | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 1: "SANSKAR" organization in collaboration with "SAMPRATI" Jammu, today organized a book release function at Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Ambphalla. The book has been shaped and complied by H. N. Tiku an eminent social worker and activist and founder SANSKAR Organization. The Book titled Dainik Achaaranas / Rituals and their Religious and Social Implications is a very valuable addition to every household especially growing up generations as it is bound to inculcate in them sense of morality and probity in their humanistic behavior and to make them more knowledgeable about the importance of various acts, vidhi and things that we use in our day to day puja's and Rituals, with Hinduism being away of life too.
Tiku optimisticallyb feels there is a strong need to campaign for revival of Sanskrit language especially amongst our children and budding youths to enable them to study and learn from our religious books and follow the Hindu religion in right perspective.
The programme was presided over by Dr. K. L. Chowdhary a noted doctor as well as a literary scholar. Other luminaries in the presidiums were Dr. Susheel Razdan, the well known neurologist, Dr. Rattan Lal Shant and President K.P. Sabha K. K. Khosa.
Prof. Shant in his address while lauding the efforts of Tiku Sahab in bringing out a book on rituals said that youngsters should be aware of all these ritual's and Sanaskars mentioned in the book. He explained at length the literal meaning of Sanaskars and their importance. |
