Jammu, Apr 1: Raghunandanji Sharma National President of Bharat Raksha Manch (BRM) today said that social, economic, cultural and political situation of the country and specific issues of J&K, and other states of the country were discussed and resolutions have been passed in respect of early deportation of Rohingya Muslims and other foreign nationals illegally staying near the sensitive and vital installations like Railway tracks, Bridges, Airport, defence establishments and other locations as they are not only eating up the limited resources of Jammu, but also becoming a threat to the security of the country. "The recent attack on Sunjwan Army camp in which we lost six precious lives of our soldiers and just after a week's time the stone pelting was done on the same Army camp," said Sharma. He termed the decision of the state government to release more than 5000 stone pelters without facing trial in the court of law as self goal and suicidal. He also referred to the discrimination being inflicted on the Jammu region by the ruling PDP because a nationalist party like BJP was given a historic mandate in the Assembly Elections. Sharma called upon the people of Jammu to exert pressure on their elected representatives to either ensure that Jammu is not ignored in matters of development, employment in government services and equal share in allocation of funds. Jammu region has huge potential of establishing orchards of fruits like mangoes, Apples in the hilly areas, strawberries, grapes etc. |
