Reasi, Apr 1: The five days training programmes on organic farming organized by KVK Reasi at Organic Training Centre, Talwara (under Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya Unnat Krishi Shiksha Yojana) Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) concluded. According to press release, the training programmes were attended by 150 farmers (five batches of 30 farmers) from different district of Jammu province. The programmes were sponsored by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi under Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya Unnat Krishi Shiksha Yojana. The programmes were organised under the able guidance of Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr.P.K.Sharma & Associate Director Extension (ADE) & Incharge of all the KVKs, Dr.R.K.Arora of SKUAST-J. Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi, Dr. Banarsi Lal briefed the programmes with the warm welcome of the farmers. Various technical sessions were organised during these programmes and the experts from SKUAST-J, Deptt. of Agriculture, NABARD, private firms etc. were invited in these programmes. Dr.Banarsi gave a detail view of principles of organic agriculture. |
