Jammu, May 5: Minister for Health and Medical Education department Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal chaired an introductory meeting of Health department in Jammu division at Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Gurjeet Singh Soodan, Director Family Welfare Dr. Samir Mattoo, MD NHM Dr. Yash Paul, MD JKMSCL Inderjeet Dy. Director Health HQ Dr. Chander Parkash, Dy. Director Schemes Dr. Dimple Singh, Dy. Director Planning Mrs Neelam Baru, MS Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Dr. ADS Manhas CMOs, Medical Superintendent of District hospitals of Jammu Division, Division Nodal Officers of various schemes, Staff Officers of Directorate of Health Services Jammu. During the meeting Minister took the review of functioning of various hospital, staff position availability of equipment, Drugs, consumables etc, while addressing the meeting the Minister directed for ensuring better Health Care to the patients, implementation of all the schemes of Health department at all levels in very transparent manner sincerely with dedication so that Poor's are benefitted & People expectations are also met. He directed to ensure proper Medical arrangements for forth coming Shree Amar Nath Yatra pilgrims, better arrangements in advance for combating Dengue/Malaria during coming days by establishing separate wards, testing facilities at District Hospitals. National Programme for TB Control was also reviewed & the Hon'ble Prime Minister commitment to end TB by 2025 was reminded & asked to work for this with holistic approach. He also directed to CMOs to do effective touring of their areas to supervise & monitor the implementation of various schemes, ensure punctuality & availability of staff in remote areas. He directed to concern CMOs to establish Obstetric High Dependency Care Units in District Hospitals, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri & Kishtwar in time bound manner. |
