Decks cleared for appointments of 36 Junior Physiotherapists | HC vacates stay order | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 5: In a significant judgment, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur of Jammu and Kashmir High Court (Jammu Wing) has disposed of a bunch of 11 writ petitions, challenging selection of 36 Junior Physiotherapists selected by J&K SSRB way back in October, 2015. While vacating the stay order in all the writ petitions, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur directed the SSRB to re-work the select list within a period of 4 weeks . Deputy Advocate General Raman Sharma produced the records of the selected candidates before the court in order to demonstrate that the selected candidates possessed the requisite eligibility and the bonafide certificate had been requisitioned just to ascertain the genuineness of the degrees obtained by selected candidates from outside the state. With these observations and directions Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur vacated the interim directions and directed SSRB to re-work the select list within a period of four weeks from today and cleared the deck for the appointment of 36 Junior Physiotherapists. Deputy Advocate General Sanjeev Padha, Govt. Advocate Sunil Malhotra appeared for the State Government whereas Advocate Ajay Gandotra and Advocate Mohd. Shaqir Hussain appeared for the selected candidates. |
