SLNMMT organizes programme on importance of Bhagwat Geeta

Jammu, May 5: Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized a speech competition on the topic,"Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Kaa Adhunic Samay Mein Mahatav".
According to press release, 30 students of senior and junior groups from various institutions participated.
R.D. Sharma Vice Chancellor Jammu University was the Chief Guest and Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and President of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust presided over the function. To judge and evaluate the contents a panel of judges comprising of three eminent educationists hailing from Jammu University and Education Department was constituted.
After evaluation by the judges, cash prizes of Rs. 2000/= Rs1500/= and Rs.1000/= were awarded to Miss Superiya Uttam of Dogra Hr. Sec. School Shastri Nagar (1st), Miss Diyaa of Rich Harvest School Bari Brahmana (2nd) and Master Aditya Yadav of Govt Hr. Sec. School Gandhi Nagar (3rd) of Senior group and Rs.1500/=, 1000/=, 700/= were awarded to Miss Divya Gupta of Heritage School (1st), Master Akhileshwar Singh Charak of Rich Harvest School Bari Brahmna (2nd) and Miss Kanika Devi of Shiksha Niketan School (3rd) of junior group.
