Sanskrit Scholars call on Speaker LA

Jammu, May 12: A delegation of Sanskrit scholars today called on Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly speaker Dr. Nirmal Singh.
The delegation was led by Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust president Rohit Shastri. The delegation put forwards various issues associated with Sanskrit language.
Moreover the delegation also appealed to setup a separate ministry for Sanskrit language and to make Sanskrit language compulsory from 6th standards in JKBOSE syllabus, so that more students learn about Sanskrit language from their childhood and adopt it as a regular course in their studies.
