Association of Social Media professionals interact with JIAR students | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 12: In first of its kind interaction in Jammu and Kashmir regarding use of social media platforms professionally for community development and youth empowerment, association of Social Media Professionals (ASMP), a global group of social media professionals from connected to 28 countries in the world, today organised its first interaction programme at Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) in Jammu. Theme of the event was "social media for youth engagement and empowerment" and topic of the event was social media for governance and marketing, an initiative for association community research and action (ACRA). Representatives of ASMP were Deepak Khajuria journalist by Profession and Amit Mahajan I&T professional and they work voluntarily with the association just to create awareness among the masses, regarding social media for strengthening democracy good governance and inclusive development. Association has its own website. theASMP.net. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Raghuvir Singh Principal JIAR. Deepak and Amit thanked chairperson JIAR, Suman Sharma managing Directors Ravish Sharma and Ritesh Sharma, Principal Dr. Raghuvir Singh and Vice Principal Dr. Nitin Mahajan for giving the opportunity to interact with the students regarding social medial.
