Militants loot JK Bank branch

Kulgam, May 18: On Friday militants looted Rs 3,28000 from J&K Bank branch at Qaimooh area of Kulgam district. Reports said the militants barged into J&K Bank's branch in Khudwani-Qaimooh and looted money. They said that two militants overpowered the guard of the bank, showed him a gun and then took away the money. Kulgam's superintendent of police Harmeet Singh confirmed the incident. The security forces immediately cordoned the area to trace out the militants.
