Mitsubishi holds 3 days training for MIET faculty | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18: Mitsubishi Electric India Private, a Japanese Company, is training the engineering faculty of the departments of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu. The company has sent its expert engineer Sapan to conduct the 3-day training programme. Under a Memorandum of Understanding between the company and MIET, Mitsubishi has established a high-end Factory Automation (FA) Lab with the latest, state of the art equipments in the institution. Equipments include the latest version of Programmable Logical Controllers, VFD, precision servo and induction motors and FX PLC with Human-Machine Interface Training kit on the iQ platform software (engineering software). All these equipments have been installed at MIET, free of cost, under the CSR initiatives of the company. Mitsubishi Electric FA Lab is the first and the only industry-driven centre of excellence in the State of J&K with the aim to train engineering students on the latest equipments used in the industry. Training students on these equipments will make them industry-ready so that they can take on any live problem in the sector and provide the solution. |
