JKRA achieves 40 medals | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18: Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) achieved 40 medals including 17 Gold, 11 Silver and 12 Bronze medals till date. The shooters achieved these medals without a shooting range in J&K State but now with the help of J&K Police under CAP we are using Police shooting range at Gulshan Ground Jammu. Few days back Jammu Kashmir Rifle Association approached J&K State Sports Council and JKSSC have allotted us some land at M.A stadium Jammu for constructing a morden shooting range which will be a great boost for the shooters of the state in coming days. A world class shooting range has come up at Nagrota which will be opened shortly for the shooters which will open to all categories of shooters and where we will be able to conduct National competitions in coming days. At present we have 150 registered shooters with Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association and many have applied for the registration. JKRA has associated with 11 associations and clubs, 6 shooters of Jammu Kashmir Rifle Association are selected for Indian squad trials and are challenging the ace shooters of country. |
