Jammu, May 19: Sat Sharma, Minister for Housing and Urban Development today declared Jammu District Karate Championship Open.
District Karate Championship has been organised in indoor multipurpose hall at MA Stadium organized by Jammu District Karate Association affiliated with AKAJK and recognised by J&K State Sports Council. In the ongoing tournament, more than 200 Karatekas Participated. The tournament was inaugurated by Sat Sharma, where as Ambedkar Gupta (joint Secretary KAI and General Secretary AKAJK), Rahil Gupta (vice president AKAJK ),Vishal Sharma (Advocate) (President District Jammu Karate Association and Satish Gupta, Indoor Manager presided over the function. Karan Sharma, Former Karate player and hours leader, (BJYM) was also present in the function. The tournament is for two days. Many schools and clubs from all over Jammu District participated in the tournament. |
