Unexploded mortar shell on roof top creates panic

Jammu, May 19: As precautionary measures, police have evacuated the family of Bachan Lal after an unexploded shell was found on the roof top of his house at village Rangpur Trewa falling under the jurisdiction of Arnia police station. Although, a hole was created on the roof top of the house but the mortar shell remained unexploded and police have covered the unexploded shell with sand bags. Police have send the requisition to the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of Army for diffusing the unexploded mortar shell and tomorrow the BDS team likely to diffuse it.
Police have evacuated all the family members of Bachan Lal son of Balakhi Ram of Rangpur Trewa and covered the shell with sand bags.
