| Sanskrit Scholars demands opening of Sanskrit Gurukul | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 19: Sanskrit Scholars demanded to open the Sanskrit Gurukul in the RSS (D.U.) Ranbir Campus Kot Bhalwal Jammu. Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri said the initiative would bring a new revolution in the field of development of Sanskrit language and people will start learning Sanskrit language. Shastri said special Sanskrit teacher Pandit, Jyotishi etc should educate the young generation in the upliftment of Sanskrit language and bring them in the development program of Sanskrit language organizing regular seminar and symposium on Sanskrit development works. He said that Jammu is known as the "city of temples" but the students pursuing studies in Sanskrit and aspiring to have career in this field, they have to suffer on account of dearth of facilities and ample opportunities. |
