| SIPS celebrates environment day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 5: The World Environmental day was celebrated by Stephens International Public School. The celebrations were inaugurated by the Director Satvinder Saini. Saplings were planted by the students as well as the staff in the school ground. The school authorities motivated the students to plant more and more trees in order to make the surroundings green. The Principal Manoj Kumar Agnihotri interacted with the students and told that even 'Gurbani' preaches that nature should be cared for.
Poster making activity was also held on the school campus to create awareness and help students understand the importance of 3 P's i.e. Protect, Persevere and Promote 'Mother Earth'. A nukkad natak was also presented which was highly appreciated by the localities. Different questions were asked by the students from local people about the air pollution. Students cleaned the environment with the help of brooms and dustbin were also placed at different corners to ensure the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' that is going on in the school premises. |
