| Teachers' Forums condemn harassment of former CEO Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 5: Teaching fraternity of different trade unions held a meeting at Kathua to discuss the unwarranted harassment of Nirmal Choudhary former CEO Kathua in his office on 04.06.2018. The participants said the unwarranted harassment of district level officer is a matter of great concern and need an impartial departmental enquiry so that whosoever is found guilty may be punished under law. Leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Government Teachers Forum, United School Teachers Association, Incharge School Education +2 Lecturer forum requested Education Minister Ch Zulfkar Ali , Chief Secretary, Secretary School Education to constitute an impartial departmental enquiry committee under Director School Education Jammu to find out the truth and punish the guilty. Participants said that whatever has appeared in print, social and electronic media if it is believed then impartial departmental enquiry is must. Education minister should personally intervene to stop the harassment of education officers, it seems it is a tussle between CEO and DEPO Kathua on some issue best known to them but harassment by Deputy commissioner Kathua of Nirmal Choudhary CEO Kathua in his office before his staff and general public is unjustified and unwarranted. Medical report of the officer shows that his blood pressure increased very high after the humiliation and no liquor was consumed by him at that time as alleged by DC Kathua. |
