Angural takes over charge as Chairman of JKGB | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 6: Janak Raj Angural took over the charge of J&K Grameen bank as Chairman at Bank's Head Office, Narwal from R.K. Chhibber. He assumed the chair on Wednesday 06-06-2018. He is the 4th Chairman of J&K Grameen Bank. Prior to his joining at JKGB, he worked as a Vice President of J&K Bank and worked in various capacities. General Manager, Romesh Vaid with Sr.Managers and staff of J&K Grameen Bank welcomed Janak Raj Angural on his assuming office as Chairman, J&K Grameen bank at Head Office Narwal assuring him full cooperation from all cadres for the development and progress of the bank. Addressing all the staff, Janak Raj Angural, Chairman JKGB, appreciated the role of his predecessor and highlighted his contribution to the progress made by the bank during his tenure. He assured that he will push the bank to new heights with the cooperation of staff and customers. Addressing more he added, "As a fully central government owned undertaking JKGB is in the forefront in meeting its social commitments and also in implementing various Govt. formulated policies and schemes". He lauded the role of JKGB for giving its focus on various social security schemes launched by Prime Minister to bring each household in rural villages of J&K under the ambit of banking services. He applauded that we will look forward to work with all the stakeholders especially the RBI, NABARD and Govt. of India. Our bank has taken the message of "Engendering Empowerment" in the remote villages of J&K. |
